My grandmother died in 2005. She did not own a computer. I think she could have mastered some computer skills, but she had plenty of interests and activities and friends to keep her engaged in the world. She wrote things down, not fictional stories but events of her life, both past and present. After she died, I was given the honor of keeping some of her writings. I thought starting a blog with them might be fun. I hope readers will find it enjoyable. Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas lights
Thurs., December 19, 2002 - Baked pumpkin cranberry bread. Tom came in evening for usual routine. He brought barbecued ribs from Famous Dave's.
Fri., December 20, 2002 - Saw "White Christmas" this evening in the library. I took my bells to show.
Sat., December 21, 2002 - In a.m. Nancy took me to get my new glasses. We ate dinner at Popeyes. In evening she picked up Mitch & Anna & took us around the city to see the Christmas lights. Talked to Greta in p.am.
As I recall, the driving around to look at lights took place more than once. And maybe one time they took the city bus -- not positive on that, though.
